As Director of Access and Patient Support for Cardinal Health Sonexus™, Luis provides leadership on HUB offerings within the pharmaceutical industry that support patients through their journey. The focus is clear, ensure patients get on the right therapy, stay on therapy, and make it a great experience. Luis has over 15 years of customer service and operations experience and brings his diversified expertise in managed care, specialty pharmacy, technology solutions and call center excellence. Today, Luis works with multiple drug manufacturers and leads patient access programs in vital diseases areas including Inflammation and Immunology, Oncology and Rare Disease. Luis has also been invited to share his expertise through his participation at thought leadership and industry leading conferences.
His early career began in customer service, a discipline that he continues to share passionately with his teams today as they approach patient care. Prior to joining Cardinal Health Sonexus™, Luis led customer operations for a health plan with responsibilities for the Texas and Illinois Medicaid/MMP programs focused on servicing the aged, blind and disabled population. Luis holds a marketing degree from DePaul University, an MBA from Elmhurst College and is Lean Six Sigma certified. |
