Compliance is an organization's "Second Line of Defense" and not considered as a key role in building strong customer relationships. Contrary to those thoughts Compliance’s ability to build trust, promotes efficiency and foster communication with internal stakeholder and the customer. My experience collaborating with internal stakeholder (e.g. operations/business units) helps to strengthen the core compliance and risk management system.
In addition, incorporating a positive customer experience enhances our brand (e.g. product/service) and mitigates regulatory scrutiny and reputational risks. |
