Beau is Founder and General Partner of Texas Frontier Seed Ventures (TFSV), a Texas-focused seed fund. Beau is also a member of the leadership team of the HBS Houston Alumni Angels (HBSHAA) and is a founding member of the Houston Chapter, since its inception in early 2018. In his role at the HBSHAA, Beau screens hundreds of startups each year, runs numerous pitch events and participates as an angel investor in select financings.
Beau had been a Vice President at BMO Capital Markets in the Houston Investment Banking practice, covering U.S. Energy companies from March 2017 until January 2021, when the firm exited Energy. In his role, he executed >$1bn+ in capital markets transactions and $735mm of asset sales.
Prior to BMO, Beau had been at J.P. Morgan in New York, where he worked as an investment banker covering specialty finance companies, with a focus on tech-enabled disruptive lenders. While there, he executed a $58bn AUM three-way REIT merger (Colony NorthStar).
Beau graduated Harvard College in 2008 and Yale School of Management in 2015 where he achieved 12 academic distinctions.
Beau is a native Long Islander—Chaminade High School graduate—and currently lives in Houston, TX with his wife (Yubie), 3 daughters (Annabelle, Cora, and Rose), his Corgi (Piccolo), and cat (Snowball).
On his free time, Beau enjoys reading (30+ books per year), distance running, smoking meats, and deep-frying turkeys on the holidays.
